The librarian thing experience is a great place to go to explore books. I found that this is a great resource for teachers and students to search possible books. My students ask me if I have read this book or that. I can now provide a updated list of my favorite books or most recent read books.
In teaching Math I want to integrate cross-curriculum with reading. I use books such as "Math Curse," "The Librarian Who Measured the Earth," "Sir Circumference and the First Round Table," to introduce Math concepts. Sometimes I can't remember the title of a book and the Library experience can help me find the title.
